From a small garage roastery to a beloved coffee destination, Bean Bliss Roastery was born from an unwavering commitment to sourcing the world's rarest beans and mastering the ancient art of open flame roasting. Our founder's journey began with a transformative trip to Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee. Witnessing traditional coffee ceremonies and meeting farmers who dedicated their lives to cultivating exceptional beans ignited a passion that would change everything. The vision was clear: bring this authenticity and dedication back home.
Armed with a vintage drum roaster and an insatiable curiosity, we transformed a small garage into our first roastery. Late nights were spent perfecting roast profiles, understanding bean characteristics, and developing relationships with farmers across three continents. Each batch was a lesson, each cup a step closer to excellence.
After years of experimentation, we achieved what many thought impossible: mastering the ancient art of open flame roasting. This technique, requiring precise control and intuitive understanding, unlocks flavor profiles that modern roasters simply cannot achieve. It became our signature, our craft, our identity.
We eliminated middlemen and established direct partnerships with coffee estates in Colombia, Kenya, and Sumatra. These relationships ensure fair compensation for farmers while giving us access to the rarest, highest-quality beans.
